Updates for the '09-'10 Competition

In previous years RA's have been the key players in the Residential Green Games competition; they were responsible for organizing environmental programs and recruiting as many of their residents as possible to attend their events. BUT things will be changing in the coming year! This year we hope to get residents just as proactively involved as RA's have been in the past by encouraging them to organize their own environmental initiatives for Green Games points!  I'm a Resident: How Can I Get Involved?

As a resident of your community you can help your community earn Green Games points by 1) attending as many Green Games programs in your community as you possibly can and 2) organizing a few Green Games programs of your own. For the sake of simplicity we have 6 different program categories, each category earning a different amount of points depending on the complexity of the program, that you can choose from listed on this website!  That being said, our program categories are not set in stone; we encourage creativity and love when people have ideas that are outside of our own!

Once your program has happened just fill out a Program Form (Program Forms can be found under "Documents" on our  home page), attach an attendence sheet with the names and PIDs of those who attended your program and email all of this information to us!

 

In the upcoming year I will be working to find out about each community's Green Games events ahead of time so that I can post them on this website for your reference, so keep checking back:)
